Hi, I'm Mic, the founder of Maxwell Furniture.

1. How It Started
More than ten years ago, right after college, my first job was in the wedding and event furniture industry.
One year later, my partner and I started our own business - a tiny workshop, a few workers, and I was the only salesperson.
Back then, there weren't many suppliers focused on event furniture.
We brought stylish home-furniture concepts into the rental market, and customers loved it.
Orders grew, and one of our early designs for Revelry Event Designers in Los Angeles quickly became popular.
Slow market, small industry - but we grew steadily.

The picture shows the new product we developed for our clients, and they are very satisfied with using it.
2. Growth, Crisis, and Collapse
2018 and 2019 were amazing years. Sales climbed fast, production expanded - everything looked great.
Then 2020 hit.
- No weddings.
- No events.
- Shipping costs went crazy.
And with my own management mistakes, I faced the toughest moment of my life.
Orders dropped to almost zero.
I lost heavily - so much that I had to shut down both my company and factory.
It was the darkest chapter of my entrepreneurial journey.

3. Rebuilding from Zero
But at the end of 2021, when the U.S. market slowly recovered, I refused to give up.
I took out a bank loan, restarted the business, and returned to the industry with not only experience - but the lessons from failure.
Business grew fast again.
But fast growth brought new problems: late deliveries, inconsistent management, and quality issues.
One rental company in Miami gave us brutally honest feedback - broken chairs, fragile tabletops, fabrics that got dirty too easily.
I flew to their warehouse. Their team showed me every problem.
That visit changed me.




I realized that the event industry doesn't just need beautiful designs -It needs professional-grade, rental-ready, long-lasting furniture.
Furniture that survives transport, stacking, heavy usage, and constant turnover.

4. Transformation & Professionalization
After returning to China, we re-evaluated everything.

At the same time, I started visiting clients around the world -
I've met more than a hundred clients.

In Mexico, I watched chairs surrender to salt's slow siege; in Miami, I saw rentals bloom into a thriving trade. In Botswana, I saw our own pieces standing their ground; in Dubai, I learned how future designs could rise even higher
Every trip taught me more about real-world usage - what breaks, what lasts, what renters need most.
And the more I saw, the more respect I gained for this industry.When I came home, we restructured the entire company - product development, management, service workflow, design, sales, production, and quality control.
Our goal is simple:
To become a professional, reliable, and creative manufacturer for the global wedding and event furniture industry.
5. Where Maxwell Stands Today
Today, Maxwell specializes in:

-from dining chairs to tables, lounges, coffee tables, bar and cocktail tables.
We invest part of our profits into:

- new technology
- and especially our design team
This is why we consistently launch original designs and can handle custom projects quickly and professionally.
Most importantly, I'm fortunate to have a team that is responsible, detail-oriented, and dedicated.
